Quick start

New caster? Follow these steps before your first shout duel.

  1. 1

Install the demo or wishlist Early Access

Open Super Shout Showdown on Steam, try the free demo, and wishlist the full Early Access build so you are ready when it unlocks.

  2. 2

Pick a casting mode that fits your setup

Use Shouting Mode with a clear mic if you want maximum anime energy, or switch to Typing / Tapping when you need silence or controller-friendly play.

  3. 3

    Customise short, distinct incantations

Open the Grimoire, rewrite default chants into phrases your ASR (and fingers) can land under pressure. Mix short mobility lines with longer empowered finishers, then practice in lobbies.

  4. 4

Learn mode rules before ranked chaos

Read Duel, Team Battle (3v3/4v4), and Free-for-All guides so you understand Excalibur secrets, spell steal, zone kills, and team combo windows.

  5. 5

Refine loadouts with the tier list and tools

Cross-check the Spell Tier List, Incantation Planner, and Patch Notes hub, then iterate after each balance pass.
